👩⚕️ About the Author
Olga Komadina is a Speech Pathologist with over 20 years of experience and a deep passion for helping children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Her expertise was shaped by one-on-one mentorship with David Hammer (Apraxia Kids USA) in 2010, and most recently by completing the Australian CAS Bootcamp in 2025. She is listed in the Apraxia Kids SLP Directory and is known for her neuroaffirming, evidence-informed approach to CAS therapy.
Earlier in her career, Olga spent two weeks observing expert CAS clinicians at Max’s House, which sparked her journey toward founding a CAS-only clinic.
Today, she delivers 22 individual CAS therapy sessions each week, offers 1:1 supervision to 12 speech pathologists, and provides group supervision and training to clinics across Australia. Most speech pathologists never get access to this kind of immersive, hands-on learning with real clients—so this handbook is her way of offering a similar style of experience-based training, virtually.
